ENSEIGNEMENT CATHOLIQUE D'ESPRIT TRADITIONNEL
Sainte-Marie Mère de Dieu School is a private, non-subsidized, non-profit Roman Catholic school recognized and accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. It has also been a nationally registered charity since May 2023. For the 2025/26 school year, it offers in-person capacity for 125 students from kindergarten through Grade 12.
The school follows a trimester-based calendar with numbered weeks linked to all course content. In-person classes are offered at the kindergarten and elementary levels (Grades 1 to 6), using the programs of the Marist Brothers and the Brothers of the Christian Schools, as well as at the intermediate level (Grades 7 and 8), which includes science, English, and computer studies.
The school also offers its own courses in Thomistic philosophy, advanced mathematics, financial mathematics, Catholic culture (geopolitics, music, aesthetics, and repertoire appreciation), history and geography, Canadian and world studies, French, classical Latin, and advanced English from Grades 9 to 12, with a “classical studies” specialization, and also with a “science” specialization, awarding the Ontario Secondary School Diploma to its graduates.
Finally, the school offers hybrid teaching for intermediate and secondary students, both online live (no pre-recorded videos) and in-person.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
