TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC EDUCATION
École Sainte-Marie Mère de Dieu is a private, non-subsidized, not-for-profit, French-language Roman Catholic school recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education, and a registered Canadian charity. It will welcome up to 75 students from kindergarten to grade 12 for the 2023/24 school year.
The elementary and intermediate curriculum (grades 1 to 8) is based on the Marist Brothers and Brothers of Christian Instruction programs, with additional science and English classes; grades 6 to 8 also study Latin and computing.
The School offers its own specialized philosophy, enriched mathematics, personal finance, Catholic culture (geopolitics, music, aesthetics and repertoire), history, geography, Canadian and world studies, French, classical Latin and advanced English courses for grades 9 to 12. These classes are open to high school students in Ontario and Quebec.
Classes are offered in person at all grade levels. The School also offers synchronous online classes (no pre-recorded videos) for grades 6 and up.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
